CAMBURG FORD RAPTOR 17-20 2.5 FRONT SLAPPER BUMP STOP KIT w/ FOX 2.5 BUMP STOPS

Adding bump stops to our Ford Raptor long-travel kit and stock-length performance lower arms is easy with our 2.5 Slapper Bump Stop kit since the lower arms are already tabbed for it.

Adding a 2.5-bump stop adds a ton more control and bottoming resistance. This allows for a soft plush ride through the small stuff that doesnt bottom out easily through the bigger hits and g-outs. This is a great add-on that makes a significant improvement off-road without taking away from ride quality on the street.

Why a slapper arm setup you ask?The main benefit is it allows the air bump to strike further outboard on the lower arm making it much more effective and efficient. Were able to keep the motion ratio geometry consistent through the bottoming-out travel so there is constant contact with the lower arm and the bump stop isnt swiping the lower arm. The bump stops only comes into play toward bottoming and allow free movement in the ride zone so the suspension is more active in that range. With the slapper arm design, were also able to incorporate a custom rubber pad to reduce noise on contact. This setup also doesnt inhibit the routing of the coilover remote reservoir lines. Last, but not least, its really cool too.

This is designed for our custom FOX or King 2.5 bump stops that work more like an air shock. Weve spent extensive time testing and getting these dialed in for our kits. We have the FOXs cerakoted gray which is a high-performance ceramic coating used in FOXs trophy truck race shocks. We supply aircraft AN bolts for the upper and lower mounts that have the proper grip/shoulder length for maximum strength. We also include bolt-on brackets to relocate the driver-side ABS module and passenger-side wiring harness at the frame for proper clearance and routing.

Mounts come raw as they need to be welded on. We recommend spraying them with black Steel-IT after welding.

Notes

• Welding is required to install the slapper bump stop frame mounts.
• Minor trimming to the frame brackets may be necessary due to variances in OEM frame tolerances for proper fitment before welding.
• Designed for our Performance L/T kit and stock length slapper compatible lower arms only.
